About
thirty fife years ago when I had some back pain I was treated with a series
of massages from a medical doctor. He was using a vibration massager which
looked very simple but was very effective and after the treatment I was
totally free of pain. I was so convinced that I bought the same massager.
I used it once in a while when I had some muscle pain. For several years
I hadn't touched it but when I moved from Germany to Spain I took it with
me. Then when I had quite some heavy fisical work I used it sometimes and
it gave me always release from tention and pain.
About
half a year ago when my horse had problems with his back legs, I remembered
the massager and how it had helped me, so why not also my horse? So I gave
him every day a good massage on the big muscles of his back. After a few
days he was much better and I continued with the massages. He could walk
much better and his mood also went up - and so mine aswell... But then
after a few massages more the massager break down. There were a few little
rubber pieces which just gave up after so long time of use. I tried to
repair the massager but I couldn't find the pieces. And also I couldn't
find any massager similar to this one.
So I
went to eBay on the Internet to find one. I bid for one which was the most
near to the one I had used. I won it for a resonable price and also with
a second one, because then I could use one for my horse and one for myself.
So I was waiting that the massager would arrive. And I waited and waited...
Nothing. Normally for airmail it needs two or three weeks from the US to
Spain. After six weeks nothing. I emailed the seller. No response. I tried
to phone him, but there was only an answering machine.
So I
looked for another massager in eBay and found an used one with a good brand
and little used, - at least that's what the selling lady said. I won it
after bidding against other people and paid the same night with payPal.
But after a few days I was adviced that the money was rejected. After asking
the selling lady told me that she doesn't accept payPal because then she
needs to pay a commission to payPal, she wants payment with bitPay. OK,
so I signed up with bitPay and paid the bid price of 70$ + 30$ for shipping
+ 5$ for bidPay = total 105$. When the massager arrived after a few weeks
I used it emmidiately on my horse, apart of the strange noise it made it
seemed to work, - but after 10 minutes the massager got hot and started
to smell, so I had to stop it. Desesperately I used the massager for two
days more because my horse really needed it. But then I removed the plastik
cover of the moving part and saw that the steal plate was totally broken,
no way to repair it... The selling lady answered my reclamation by telling
me that the massager was working well when she send it and that the motor
didn't heat up.
Meanwhile
I had send six email to the seller of the two massager I had bought several
months before. The time went by. Finally the seller wrote back that he
would check about it. Again several months went by, I wrote an other email
to eBay and they told me that I could announce the seller because of fraud.
But how can I do this from Spain if the seller lives in the US? Anyway,
what I needed was a funtioning massager and not a correspondence with people
from eBay who answer my complains with form letters.
Meanwhile
I had bought another massager in an auction in eBay, an ultra sound massager.
More than half the new price but
