As you can see: behind the sweet teddy bear a monster is waiting!
One should know that the truth behind an image might be totally different! What people show of themselves and especially through a medium like the Internet is their self-image, that what they believe they are or like to be. Mostly reality has little to do with it. People are manipulating, trying to get what they want by showing a picture or a description of themselves to attract those they want to be trapped - to fulfill their needs (sometimes by  rejecting!). Often this is done with intention by offering an image that it makes it easy to be interpreted and to project one's need into it. For example: if a photo is so dark and blurred that one can see in it whatever one wants to see. Or the eyes on the photo are beaming love... and then one sees a loving person and feels drawn to her or him and then when meeting this person reality looks completely different!
We should know this and there is no need to go into such a relationship. We can avoid it by being critical because we know what the game is and what most people's intentions are. And if one is aware of one's own needs and also one's weakness because of the lack, then one will be more careful and check out the situation and the person on the other side of the screen...
